What is Beanstalk?

Beanstalk is a charity that provides one to one literacy support for children who struggle with their reading ability and confidence all over the country. Currently they have over 100 staff and almost 3,100 volunteers working in England.

What will a volunteer be doing?

Volunteers will be trained to recognise what challenges each child faces and then tailor the sessions to support that child. Volunteers will be with three children providing support throughout the week for a school year.

How can you Volunteer?

There will be a drop-in event at Shipley Library on Wednesday 5th July 2017 – times to be announced as soon as possible. Please watch this space.
