This year’s Shipley Street Arts Festival is fast approaching with less than two weeks until the first event on Friday 26th June.

The Festival looks set to inspire and delight audiences this summer with a range of interactive workshops, music, dance, circus, theatre and much more.

The Festival team have been busy spreading the word; distributing flyers, pinning up posters and hitting the social media screenface. The response and feedback we’ve been receiving has been great and really encouraging but they need your help for the final push.

The Festival is a community event, celebrating Shipley, our community and the town’s diverse arts and cultural scene. 90% of the event is free and the team want as many people as possible – whether young, old or somewhere in between – to enjoy the Festival. To this end, if you could share this post  we would be incredibly grateful.

This is the time to push Fringe events and help make sure all the wonderful contributions to the festival programme are known about throughout the town and region.

Full details of all events, including the Arts Trail and the Festival Fringe, can be found here: www.shipleystreetarts.com

You can also find the event on Facebook and Twitter.

With headline acts including a 50ft inflatable whale, a stunning physical theatre show, interactive pavement art and a new street theatre commission about superheroes, there really is something for everyone.

Don’t miss out!
