What is the Food Co-op?
The Food Co-op helps everyone get five fresh fruits and vegetables at a consistently low price. Opening every day within the hall at Windhill Community Centre. The Co-op will be open at 9:00 am up to 1:00 pm. When it closes however it will still be possible to buy fruits and vegetables until the community centre closes.
Why get five a day?
It is quite important to eat five portions of fruit and vegetables as there is evidence showing that there are significant health benefits to getting at least five portions of a variety of fruit and vegetables every day. The Food Co-op aims to make this easier for everyone.
