Calling all Windhill Kids for a Sports Day!
Calling All Windhill Kids! The NCS will be running sports coaching and will also be holding tournament will be held on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th July starting from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. This event is aimed at children aged 6 to 13 years old. The event will be held at Windhill Wild Park next to Windhill Community Centre. However if it is wet the community centre will be used to hold the event.
What will happen each day?
On the first day a sports session will be held to establish everyone’s ability levels. and interest. To achieve this this a variety of sports will games will be set up to play for example football, cricket, rounders and basketball games. On the second day the tournament will be held. In addition healthy eating and nutrition information will be given throughout both days.
